I got my love of reading and writing books from my mother who herself was a published author of children’s educational books. From writing short stories as a child. I have now published my first historical romance novel, Saving Sam, all with the help of Publishing Push. As a complete novice, regarding publishing, they helped me throughout to make my dream come true.

I live in Lincolnshire with my husband and our three cats, Kizzy, Twinkle and Teddy and spend my time writing stories. After a few years writing Saving Sam, developing the plot and storyline, I eventually decided that I should see my hard work in print and get it published. I am now in the process of writing a sequel.

Saving Sam is based among the Victorian row houses of Great Yarmouth. Alice tragically loses her parents in a brutal murder and is taken in by Mrs Elgin. Originally from Devon, she meets Sam, who is married to a drunken, vindictive harpy Susan.

Alice and Sam slowly fall in love and with help from their close friends, Helen and William they manage to escape to a new life together. Eventually returning to Great Yarmouth, the story follows them and that of other memorable characters in this saga of Victorian life, with unexpected twists and turns and difficult decisions to be made.
